Campaign Marketing

Fax marketing should be given serious consideration to when looking at a whole campaign. Whilst it goes without saying that a good website that has been well optimised to get at the top of Google on the right searches can be taken for granted there is no doubt that ''ol' fashioned'' faxing still can get a very good result for the money spent on it.

Campaign Marketing by fax

The humble fax has been around for over 30 years now. When it first came out it was a wonder - pictures (all be it black & white) instantly from your phone. The police used to send pictures of criminals to be caught and it appeared in Hollywood movies of the time again helping to catch the baddies with its speed. Some businesses now think it is passé and no longer works - we think they could be losing a lot of business.

There are very few businesses in the UK who do not have a fax - from the smallest one man band up to multi nationals - who of course usually have many. The point is that you can get your message through. Further - the FP has done little damage - even improved the medium. The FPS (Fax Preference Service) means that those who do not want a fax can register that fact and as all Fax Marketing companies have to subscribe to this list, by law, they will not receive faxes from that point on. We have over 800.000 UK Business fax numbers so you can do your Campaign Marketing to them knowing they have not registered. Hence the majority are happy to receive your fax. This is good for the results and so we have noticed over the last few years that fax marketing is better today than it was in the 1990's when there were no regulations.

For Campaign Marketing to work well it should be consistent

This does just mean that the message should be consistent from point of sale & product packaging through to the Website and email design. It also means that your Campaign Marketing promotions should be consistent. A regular send each month of your newsletter or fax campaign. Some Marketing staff get so wrapped up with a few complaints, which can be noisy & always seem so big that they fail see the simple fact that if you sent out 50,000 faxes and two people complained then 49,998 DIDN'T. Yet it is so easy to get fixated on the one or two complaints that are so upset. It isn't hard to register with the FPS and we ALWAYS remove anyone who asked so it is important to keep things in perspective and not let a few stop you. The simple truth of the matter is the vast majority do like to receive promotional faxes. We assume you are an ethical company selling a product that could be of some use to the majority of the people you promote to and your services and goods are of a good standard. As a company we do not work with any who do not meet these basic requirements - we have standards. That being the case the majority of people in the UK like to hear about goods and services and what they have to offer, how they can get them, how much do they cost - that's why we earn money, so we can buy things. So don't let a few complaints stop you from doing Campaign Marketing - perhaps one of the big differences between the USA and a third world country is the Sales & Marketing infra-structure that gets products marketed and sold and keeps so many people usefully employed!
